Baseball’s over!
In my dreams.
Now that they’ve been playing EVERY DAY for 6 months, the games start to actually matter. So even though there will only be 8 teams playing, and no more than 2 games on any given day, there will actually be MORE baseball discussion/coverage.
So instead of having 13 hours of games on every day, we’ll have 8 hours of discussion about the one, 5-hour game that will happen that night.

The redeeming quality about the MLB playoffs is that they happen during football season right as hockey is starting up. That means there are actually real sports to pay attention to.
