Midnight classix
The Inwood Theatre does midnight movies on Friday & Saturday nights. What’s so special about these midnight movies? Well, they get prints of “classic” films and show them. For instance, I went and saw The Princess Bride on the big screen.

Addicted to Oil: Thomas L. Friedman Reporting
Discovery Times and Discovery are both airing “Addicted to Oil: Thomas L. Friedman Reporting”. It premieres tonight at 9:00 PM Central on both channels. The only repeat showings on Discovery (since most people don’t have Discovery Times) is tonight at 6/25 1:00 AM. There are repeated showings on Discovery Times.

Little People, Big World
This is a really cool show that a friend recommended to me. A dwarf couple has 4 kids, twin boys (one little, one average), a girl and another boy (both average). It’s really neat stuff, and the dad is QUITE a character. He and the little twin are really the driving force of the show […]
Deadliest Catch
This show on the Discovery Channel is amazing. It’s about Alaska crab fisherman and the hell they go through. This is the best site I found for it.

I don’t know about you guys but I think this is awesome. I always liked Futurama better than the Simpsons, I’ve probably seen more episodes of the former than the latter (as unlikely as that it is with the hundreds of Simpsons episodes there are).
South Park Memo
I think this is pretty freakin’ funny. It’s a memo from Matt Stone & Trey Parker to the MPAA while they were in the process of getting the South Park movie rated.

Publius Enigma
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Publius_Enigma
I never knew this existed. Some sources say it’s already been solved, others say that the search continues with new clues (supposed to be the last clue) given in April of this year. No prize has ever been claimed/rewarded…
New Marvel Comic Series
It’s called the ‘Civil War’ and sounds interesting. Some great ideas…
The seven-issue “Civil War” series, launched in May, sees Marvel’s writers taking on the topical issue of civil liberties.
Following a showdown between a group of superheroes and supervillains in which hundreds of innocent civilians are killed, the government passes the Super-Hero Registration Act, requiring all […]
